Actor arrested for allegedly transferring over RM210k in cryptocurrency without account holder's consent

PETALING JAYA: An actor, who was arrested by police on Tuesday (Aug 27), had allegedly transferred RM213,805 in cryptocurrency without the knowledge of the account holder.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Noor Azmi Yusof said the victim had suspected the actor, as the latter knew the password to her bitcoin account.
