JPJ e-bidding system’s proceeds hit over RM16mil


KOTA BARU: Proceeds from the Road Transport Department’s (JPJ) online vehicle registration bidding system (JPJeBid) have reached more than RM16mil since it was introduced in April. JPJ vehicle licensing division director Datuk Mohd Rusdi Mohd Darus said the collection came from 14 series of bidding through JPJeBid in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Kedah, Penang, Sabah and Johor.“For now, we are launching the JPJeBid for Kelantan and Pahang, and we expect it to be implemented in all the states by the end of November,” he said at a press conference after launching JPJeBid at the Kelantan JPJ here yesterday.

At the event, JPJ launched the bidding for Kelantan’s DDP series and Pahang’s CEE series.
