KOTA KINABALU: Road connectivity to Kalimantan is needed to ensure Sabah benefits from Indonesia’s plan to move its capital to Borneo, says an economist.
Sabah Economic and Education Society chairman Dr Rafiq Idris (pic) said Indonesia’s decision to move its capital from Jakarta had undoubtedly created both hope and concern on how the economic interaction and activities would improve Kalimantan – the Borneo island in general and Sabah in particular.
