Court of Appeal allows Najib, Shafee leave to apply for judicial review of Gopal Sri Ram's appointment

PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal here has allowed an appeal by Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah for leave for judicial review in their bid to challenge the appointment of prosecutor Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram from prosecuting their cases.

A three-man bench chaired by Justice Hasnah Mohammed Hashim allowed the appeal for leave after hearing submissions from both parties.
