KOTA KINABALU: Sabah will conduct barter trading of non-subsidised cooking oil with the Philippines and Indonesia next week, says Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal on Saturday (Aug 24).
He said the event was part of the government’s effort to cut down and hopefully stop the smuggling of goods to neighbouring countries, especially subsidised products.
