KOTA KINABALU: A 63-year-old Filipino, who charged each person RM400 to be smuggled into Sabah, was arrested when police intercepted his boat with four of his countrymen in waters off Tawau.
Sabah Marine Police commander Asst Comm Mohamad Pajeri Ali said the five, who were in a pump boat, were intercepted in the Tinagat waters at 9.30am on Tuesday after marine police patrols moved in following a tip-off.
