KOTA KINABALU: A prominent Sabah female entrepreneur and her brother are expected to face cheating and forgery charges over the alleged use of five fake receipts for RM6.9mil as evidence in a civil case.
The 50-year-old, who is a well-known philanthropist, failed to turn up at a Magistrate’s Court here yesterday for the charges, leading to magistrate Stephanie Sharon Abie to issue a Summon To Accused (STA) order for the entrepreneur to appear on Sept 3.
