"The phase three BSH payments starting Aug 28 will benefit 3.6 million recipients, with an estimated allocation of about RM1.23bil.
"The payments will be directly credited into the recipients' bank accounts, using the bank account details from the second phase payments," Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said in a statement Sunday (Aug 11).
He added that the period to appeal for the financial aid began on July 1 until Aug 15.
Those whose appeals have been approved are expected to be given their payments in September 2019.
