JOHOR BARU: Dengue cases in Johor nearly doubled in the first seven months of the year, with 6, 373 cases with 17 deaths recorded until July 27, compared to 3, 252 cases and nine deaths in the corresponding period last year.
State health executive committee chairman Mohd Khuzzan Abu Bakar said for context, the total number of cases in Johor for the whole of last year stood at 5, 885.
