KUALA LUMPUR: Jef Yangman was just another Jah Hut youth in Jerantut, Pahang, interested in computers until a dispute forced his community to prove their claims to the land they had lived on for centuries.
Jef, 28, had previously trained with Jaringan Orang Asal SeMalaysia (JOAS) and learnt to conduct mapping work to show outsiders the locations of Orang Asli land and settlements.
