IPOH: The Education Ministry should place more emphasis on helping pupils, especially those from vernacular schools, to improve their Bahasa Melayu.
Perak Chinese Assembly Hall deputy president Datuk Kwan Foh Kwai said many pupils from these schools were still finding it hard to adapt to national schools when they move up to secondary level.
