KUALA LUMPUR: An international initiative has launched a project aiming to collect over 10, 000 books to build libraries for children in need in the Klang Valley.

Launched by international nonprofit Friends to Mankind, The Book Effect is a year-long project to set up libraries for children in orphanages, drug rehabilitation centres, Orang Asli communities, refugee homes and juvenile detention centres.
