KOTA KINABALU: The government is interested to help develop the Madai Caves in Sabah’s Kunak district, provided that those who have the right to harvest birds' nest in the area agree with it.
Tourism, Arts and Culture minister Datuk Mohamaddin Ketapi said that some of the areas could be developed into a tourism destination, complete with chalets, homestays, restaurants and other amenities that come with the industry.
