Ginormous effigy all set to draw devotees


ALOR SETAR: Touted as the biggest in the country, a 10m-tall effigy of Tai Su Yeah (King of Hades) in Mergong is set to draw devotees from near and afar during the Hungry Ghost Festival.

They can now offer prayers at the site in Jalan Utara 3, Kawasan Perindustrian Mergong Barrage, over a 10-day period starting from 7.45pm today till Aug 12.
