KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has reaffirmed its commitment to see a balanced form of development that prioritises environmental sustainability as much as economic dimensions.

Glimpses of this direction were seen at the inaugural symposium on the Malaysian economy organised at Parliament yesterday, where the Economic Affairs Ministry’s deputy secretary-general (macro) Zakiah Jaafar shared a preview of the 12th Malaysia Plan.
