Mindef dismisses viral photo is that of missing soldiers

PETALING JAYA: The Defence Ministry has denied speculations that its army personnel, who had gone missing since last Friday (July 19), had been found dead as depicted in a photograph that had gone viral.

Stressing that the two missing personnel had yet to be found, the Ministry said the Royal Malaysian Navy had found the body of a woman at the Northern part of Straits of Malacca on July 23.
