PETALING JAYA: A fire razed four workers' quarters at a construction site near the Ar-Rahah mosque in Kampung Kerinchi, Kuala Lumpur.
A spokesperson for the Fire and Rescue Department said the first distress call was received at 8.53am on Friday (July 26).
"Twenty-eight fire fighters from three fire stations including Pantai, Seputeh, and Hang Tuah stations responded to the emergency.
"The four buildings were totally destroyed in the blaze but the fire was brought under control by 9.23am," said the spokesperson.
There were no casualties reported in the incident and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
