Motorcyclist killed in early morning accident

KUALA LUMPUR: A motorcyclist died after crashing his machine into the rear of a lorry before being run over by motorcycles ridden by his two friends and a car near Bukit Beruntung yesterday morning.

The incident took place at 2.30am at the 430.4km mark of the North-South Expressway, said Hulu Se­­langor acting police chief DSP Azman Ab Rahman.

Mohammad Fakrurraziq Eddy Izzudin, 18, who was riding a Yamaha 135LC, died at the scene.

His friends, aged 18 and 19, were riding a Yamaha 125Z and Yamaha Lagenda, respectively.

A Nissan Sentra that was behind the trio also hit them, causing the two to sustain injuries.

The victim’s body was sent to Kuala Kubu Baru Hospital, which also treated the two injured riders. — Bernama
