Police tracking down Bangladeshi for allegedly outraging modesty of radiographer

MELAKA: Police have launched a manhunt for a 31-year-old Bangladeshi for allegedly outraging the modesty of a female radiographer at a clinic in Merlimau here.

State CID chief Asst Comm Mohd Yhazid Idris said the 22-year-old radiographer lodged a police report on July 18 and his team was tracking down the suspect.

He said the radiographer from Sarawak claimed the suspect had deliberately hit the chest of the radiographer when a medical examination was being done.

Mohd Yhazid said the suspect had acted indecently inside the X-ray room, prompting the radiographer to scream in the 12.35pm incident.

He added a doctor came to her aid before a police report was lodged.

The suspect, believed to be working in a poultry farm, fled after realising a police report had been lodged against him.
