MANDOPOP king Jay Chou is apparently an overly attached husband who would leave lovey-dovey comments on his wife’s Instagram. This happened when his actress wife Hannah Quinlivan was on a working trip to London, China Press reported.
Quinlivan, who was invited for a fashion event, also took the opportunity to watch the Wimbledon men’s final last Sunday.
Singaporean singer-songwriter JJ Lin, who also attended the match, posted a picture of himself and Quinlivan, saying: “Don’t worry Jay, I’ll take good care of Hannah Quinlivan.”
Chou responded by asking: “Who is that beautiful girl?”
Chou, who was in Taiwan, also commented that he would fly to London to meet her immediately if she were to post more photographs.
Netizens teased him for being an overly attached husband who misses his wife terribly and wants to be with her all the time.
Chou got married in 2015, just a day before his 36th birthday.
> Despite the mixed response to toymaker Mattel’s collection of dolls modelled after Korean pop group BTS, the miniature figurines were sold out in an instant.
Guang Ming Daily reported that the BTS dolls featured them wearing outfits inspired by the boyband’s Idol music video.
The dolls were sold for US$20 (RM82.30).
Many fans were disappointed with the dolls, saying that they did not really resemble their idols.
However, that did not stop them from purchasing the figurines.
