PETALING JAYA: Three more suspects, including an aide of a high-ranking Pakatan Harapan leader, have been arrested in relation to a viral sex video implicating a minister.

The three, aged between 29 and 37, were picked up by the police in Johor on Tuesday (July 16).

When contacted, Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed confirmed the new arrests.

Previously, Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz, as well as five others were arrested by the police as part of ongoing investigations into the sex video scandal.

Haziq had confessed to being one of the two men involved in sexual acts in the video, and claimed the other was Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.

Azmin has, however, categorically denied this.

Haziq was detained at KLIA on June 14 and three days later, police set up the special task force, led by Comm Huzir to investigate the case.
