KUALA LUMPUR: What are the chances of winning Magnum’s 4D Jackpot 2, and then a few years later sweeping the Jackpot 1 worth RM33,208,678.
That’s exactly what one lucky businessman in Melaka experienced when he won the Jackpot 1 last Saturday.
The man in his 40s paired his car registration numbers with personal favourite numbers to play the Magnum 4D Jackpot, which he has been doing for two decades.
He placed a RM48 bet and hit Jackpot 1 with 3895 (second prize) and 7998 (third prize).
“I’m speechless. I can’t believe it,” was all the winner could say to Magnum officials when he finally turned up at the Magnum HQ to claim his prize.
On what he would do with the money, he said: “I need time for this to register.”
“First, maybe a grand holiday as I have never been out of the country all my life,” he added.
“Later, I will buy a new home. I’ll definitely share it with my family.”
