Indonesian man found dead in chicken farm


SIBU: A 22-year old Indonesian was found dead at a chicken farm in Pasai Siong near here.

The deceased has been identified as Untung Setiyono from Bandar Lampung, Jawa, Indonesia.

Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said that at 12.04pm on Wednesday (July 10), the police received a call from a member of the public informing then that the deceased had hanged himself at a chicken farmhouse.

A police team then rushed to the scene.

“According to his roommate, the deceased had earlier had a heated argument with his girlfriend over the phone before committing suicide,” he said.

ACP Stanley said the police found no external injuries on his body.

“We have ruled out foul play,” he said.
