Leiking: Squatter issue holding back investments in Perak

IPOH: Squatters occupying state land have affected investments in Perak to some degree, said International Trade and Industry Minis­ter Datuk Darell Leiking.

“Every state has its own problems when it comes to attracting investors and for Perak it is mainly squatter issues, which the mentri besar has proper plans to deal with according to the law,” he told reporters after paying a courtesy call on Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu at the state secretariat building here yesterday.
