IPOH: A total of 14 fire stations will be set up nationwide on islands and remote areas including near longhouses next year, says Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin (pic).
She said for the initial stage, the stations under a new category, known as Class E, would be built in Sabah and Sarawak (two each), while the remaining 10 would be built within peninsular Malaysia.
