PETALING JAYA: A legal advocacy group has questioned Singapore’s refusal to issue a certificate that will spare the life of Malaysian P. Pannir Selvam from the gallows after he helped in the investigation.
Lawyers For Liberty adviser N. Surendran said Pannir, who was convicted in 2017 of trafficking 51.84g of diamorphine at the Woodlands Checkpoint on Sept 3, 2014, had helped authorities in the republic.
