Perak eyes prime area near Ipoh station

PUTRAJAYA: A joint venture will be set up between the Perak government and the Railway Assets Corp­oration (RAC) to develop land surrounding the Ipoh railway station.The land, totalling 193.7 acres, is located in a prime area within the Ipoh city centre and has been earmarked for commercial and residential development.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said its vision was to maximise the value of its railway assets.
