KUCHING: Researchers from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) are developing a rapid rabies test kit that can be used to detect rabies infection in about two hours.

The two-year project, funded with a grant of RM500,000 from the Sarawak Research and Development Council (SRDC), would allow human rabies cases to be diagnosed quickly and within Sarawak.
