Back to its former glory: The bill for the termite control plus the restoration of the mansion from floor to roof came up to RM1.05mil, significantly less than the estimated millions years ago.

GEORGE TOWN: After almost 10 years without an occupant, Seri Teratai will finally have a Chief Minister in residence after two termite colonies that have ravaged the building were destroyed.

With them gone and the mansion spruced up, Chow Kon Yeow is expected to move in by the end of the month.
