Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Mohamed Mokhsein Mohamed Zon said police, following a public tip off, arrested the 34-year-old at around 7pm Saturday (June 29) at Jalan Pudu Impian, Cheras.

"During the arrest, we found a package containing more than 1kg of ecstasy," he said in a statement Thursday (July 4).

In a separate case, another man was nabbed when police discovered RM3,600 worth of ecstasy in his car.

The man was nabbed at Jalan Sri Permaisuri 9, Bandar Sri Permaisuri, Cheras at around 9.45pm June 25.

ACP Mohamed Mokhsein said the man, 27, had two prior drug-related charges and was also wanted for a third drug case.
