KUALA LUMPUR: Several major brands have come out in support of Huawei by initiating their respective protection programmes following the introduction of Huawei’s No Worries Campaign.
Huawei’s local business partners have decided to reinforce the confidence among Malaysians by introducing their own refund programmes.
Major electronics retailers and distributors such as Senheng, Courts and Lazada number among the companies that have announced a warranty programme for Huawei users via their social media platforms and official websites.
Named the App Protection Warranty Programme, the campaign runs from July 1 to Sept 30. It allows customers to request for a full refund if any Google app is unable to function on a Huawei device.
While the campaigns are independently initiated by each retailer, the objectives are the same as the customer-centric initiatives are designed to enhance user experience and confidence in Huawei products.The move reflects the similar values held by Huawei and its local business partners, where the core pillar is customer-centricity to bring more benefits to consumers.Huawei yesterday announced its No Worries Campaign which offers rewards to the local market, including a two-year warranty programme and a new price for its flagship P30 series and Nova 3i.
During the campaign period, which runs until September, consumers are able to enjoy an additional year of warranty on selected Huawei devices upon redemption via the HiCare app.
It also announced a new price for its popular models, where consumers can save up to RM400 from the brand’s flagship model while enjoying a two-year extended warranty.
Beginning July 1, Malaysians are able to purchase the Huawei P30 Pro (8GB + 256GB variant), Huawei P30 and Huawei Nova 3i at RM3,399, RM2,299 and RM799, respectively.
