KOTA KINABALU: A mother who was desperate to see her newborn son have a better life left him on a villager’s doorstep with a note in Kota Belud, some 70km from here.
In the note, the mother asked for a woman living in the house, named Sumarti, to care for her child whom she had named Yusof.
