KOTA KINABALU: A search and rescue (SAR) operation has been mounted to locate a South Korean tourist who was swept out to open sea while swimming with friends at a resort in Karambunai near Sepanggar here.

Kyeong Young-an (pic), 18, was dragged out by strong waves while swimming with friends at about 3.30pm on Friday.
