Wangsa Maju building platform collapses: four workers hurt


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Four foreign workers were reportedly injured, after a building platform which was under construction collapsed in Wangsa Maju, here, Tuesday night (Jan 25).

Civil Defence Force Malaysia (APM) Operations officer, Captain Shahrul Kamar Mohd Johari said the four Bangladeshi workers, aged 23 to 31 years, were said to be working when the 13 metre platform collapsed.

‘’We received information on the incident at the site of an apartment project at 9pm and arrived at the location 10 minutes later,’’ he said when contacted by Bernama on the incident at Jalan Wangsa Delima 8.

Shahrul Kamar said that the victims were taken out about an hour later and sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for treatment. - Bernama
