KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian phone retail chain DirectD has launched a campaign to give customers reassurance on Huawei device purchases at any DirectD outlet and official website.

The campaign offers a full refund on Huawei products if Google Play Store, Google apps such as Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, and also popular applications such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp ceased working within a year of purchase.

DirectD operates in Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Publika (Kuala Lumpur), Kajang, Sungai Buloh, Wangsa Maju, Kota Baru, 1 Utama, and an upcoming store to be opened in Kuala Terengganu.

DirectD said it is fully compliant with regulatory policies on all mobile devices and accessories.

Customers can be assured that all devices are approved by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and verifiable via the Check Your Label programme. — Bernama
