Hasni: Umno can form new party or join another

JOHOR BARU: Umno does not rule out the possibility of creating a new political party or joining an existing one if it is dissolved, says Johor Umno chairman Datuk Hasni Mohammad (pic).

This was one of the steps being considered following the recent civil forfeiture suit filed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commis­sion (MACC) to recover RM270mil related to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).
