Classes over: Enrolment at SK Convent Light Street and SMK Convent Light Street has been dropping in recent years.

GEORGE TOWN: Penang will appeal to the Education Ministry to relocate the island’s three convent schools which will be shut down in 2024.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the state will appeal for relocation as there is land surrendered by developers to the Education Department and the state government that could be used.
