Jobless man held over RM200,000 drugs distribution

GEORGE TOWN: A 21-year-old jobless man was arrested for allegedly distributing drugs over the last three months.

The suspect was arrested at a washroom in Jelutong on Thursday.

OCPD Asst Comm Che Zaimani Che Awang said upon inspection, they seized 101g of drugs, believed to be syabu, with an estimated value of RM15,150.

“About one hour later, another team raided a house in Sungai Ara.

“We found 4.5kg of drugs, also believed to be syabu, valued at RM244,850, inside the premises,” he told a press conference yesterday.
