PETALING JAYA: Lawmakers have been reminded not to raise issues relating to allegations on sex video clips implicating a federal minister in the upcoming Parliament meeting.

Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof (pic) said it is not proper to raise such matters during debates in the august Hall.

"It will not be proper and if raised, I will issue a ruling against allowing it because this will cause prejudice and interfere with investigations," he said when contacted on Monday (June 17).

Mohamad Ariff said this following calls by Iskandar Puteri MP Lim Kit Siang who said the focus of the next Parliamentary session should be the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) Bill, and not the sex video.
