KEPALA BATAS: A 36-year-old man, believed to be under the influence of drugs, choked his mother and threatened to kill her yesterday.
The man has four criminal records, including drug offences. He was detained at his family home about 4pm on Wednesday in Penaga near here after his 60-year-old mother reported the case to police, said North Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Noorzainy Mohd Noor.
