Pakatan reps in shock over viral sex video

KLANG: Selangor Pakatan Harapan elected representatives are in shock over recent events where a minister was implicated in a viral sex video.

The minister was alleged to be one of the two men involved in sexual activities pictured in the video clip.

Some said the video was a blatant attack on both PKR and Pakatan.

"We were attacked in a similar way when we were the opposition, but it looks like the attack continues in spite of us becoming the government,'' said Bukit Melawati assemblyman Juwariya Zulkifli.

Selayang MP William Leong said the public could play a significant part in determining what happens next.

"If the public rejects such things and dismiss it as gutter politics, then we won't see them happening as there won't be any value in creating such things,'' said Leong.

Klang MP Charles Santiago believed more slanderous incidents will take place if the prime ministerial succession plan is not given a concrete time frame.

He added that only the succession plan for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to take over from Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is clear but the time frame for this to happen is still vague.

"All four Pakatan parties must sit together and make it clear how and when the succession is going to take place or there will be more problems," said Santiago.
