Anwar: Accept PM's decision, give Latheefa space to carry out her duties

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged Pakatan Harapan to accept Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's decision to appoint Latheefa Koya as the new Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief.

Noting that Dr Mahathir's decision had received various reactions from within the coalition as well as NGOs, the PKR president said that continuous polemic would have a "negative impact" on the Pakatan government.
