GERIK: A one-year-old baby girl died while three of her family members were seriously injured after the car she was travelling in was involved in a head-on collision with a Perodua Myvi at Kilometre 54 of the East-West Highway on Thursday.
Gerik district police chief Supt Ismail Che Isa said the toddler, Syifaa Thahirah Omar Shaferee, who was seated at the back of the Perodua Alza multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), died on the spot during the 10pm incident.
