Negri govt gives RM6,000 aid for lightning strike family's funeral expenses

Elangovan, Kaliammah and their son Vinesh were killed by a lightning strike on June 4 while tending to their goats at a farm in Negri Sembilan.

SEREMBAN (Bernama): The Negri Sembilan government has donated RM6,000 to the next-of-kin of the couple and child killed by a lightning strike on Tuesday (June 4).

State Human Resources, Plantation and Non-Islamic Affairs Committee chairman J. Arul Kumar said the money was to assist family members meet funeral expenses of the three victims.
