PETALING JAYA: The Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation has urged the Government to act against firecracker sellers after children were injured playing firecrackers.
Its senior vice-chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said frequent firecracker incidents should not occur since they were banned in Malaysia except for the safer “pop-pop” fireworks and “Happy Boom or Magic Pop” firecrackers.
