Remaining two teen bodies found following tragic swim

SIBU: The remaining two bodies of the three teenagers feared drowned two days ago while swimming in Sungai Nanga Tutus, Igan, have been found early Friday morning (May 31).

The body of Nurul Syahiera was found at 7.05am, while that of Trevince Gong Tommy, 14, was found 15 minutes later.

The body of the first victim, Trisha Janggok Tommy, 12, was found floating at 2.30pm a day earlier near the Bomba post jetty by a search-and-rescue team.

Acting Sibu Bomba chief, Wan Kamaruddin Wan Ahmad said the two bodies were recovered 5km from the spot where the trio jumped into the water near SMK Batang Igan for a swim on May 29.

The two bodies have been referred to the police for further action.
