Cops detain man suspected of murdering event planner


PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of an event planner at his home in Ukay Perdana, Ampang.

The man, 25, was detained on May 21 at the Sri Raya apartments, Ukay Perdana, said Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat.

"The investigation has been completed and the suspect is being charged on Thursday (May 30) for murder at the Ampang Magistrate's Court.

The victim, 33, was found lying in a pool of blood at his apartment on May 12.

His body had stab wounds on the stomach and chest.
