RM244,000 worth of contraband liquor seized

ALOR SETAR: Contraband liquor worth more than RM244,000 was seized by the Alor Setar Customs Department at the Kuala Kedah cargo jetty here.

State Customs director Datuk Johari Alifiah said a team, acting on a tip-off, waited for three hours at the parking lot before moving in to check a lorry at 9.30am last Friday.
