Remand of PAS' Amal members extended over arson case

PETALING JAYA: The four-day remand order against three PAS volunteer corp members, who were being detained to assist in investigations into the torching of the Perlis Mufti's official car, has been extended.

However, PAS' Jabatan Amal Malaysia (JAM) director-general Mohd Nazree Mohd Aris is optimistic that they would be released when the remand order expires on Friday (May 24).
