GEORGE TOWN: An e-hailing application for taxi services has been launched in Penang, with 500 taxi drivers registered under the app so far.
Dubbed caLLme Cab, the service has three categories of rides to choose from – budget, multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) or premium taxis – with accessibility to booking a trip 24 hours beforehand. It comes with a minimum charge of RM4 and charges of RM1.40 per km.
